Baguio City Orphanage 2009Bulletins
In my recent travels, I was able to stop by an orphanage in Baguio City, Philippines. This orphanage is ran by a couple of families with the financial assistance from various religious groups. These children were basically abandoned by their parents due mostly to their inability to take care of the kids. I found several of them to be so needy for affirmation and affection. It really broke my heart and made me want to bring them all home! ha ha I am just so thankful that there are groups and people who are willing to volunteer to help with such a worthy program. Rev. Joseph Benigno, Rev. Vern Compas and myself visited on Friday 10-2-09. We stopped by and picked up some toys and snacks for them which they really enjoyed. This orphanage has been in existence for the last few years and is giving these children an opportunity for a better future by bringing them up in a Christian home with Christian morals and values. Please keep them in your prayers.
