Mothers Day 2009

On Sunday May 10, NBCC celebrated Mothers Day. Regina Davis brought the message entitled "The Ability to Sustain Life" and the ladies were treated to a SPECIAL "BE SERVED" Day! On this special day, the women were not allowed to prepare any food. Instead, it was up to the MEN to buy, prepare and cook all the food as well as do the clean up after service! Of course, the women loved this!

The men did not let the ladies down! We went the extra mile to ensure that the ladies were treated like the queens that they are! We prepared a barbecue pig, deep fried turkey and many other entrees and dishes for our ladies. Then, when it was all over, we washed the dishes, cleaned the tables, vacuumed up the floors and put everything up!

What an awesome day and one where it felt so good to give back to our ladies who do so much. Thank you moms!!! Happy Mothers Day!
