New Beginnings Continues with a Facelift!

New Beginnings Community Church has been hard at work in an effort to CONNECT with the world today. Spiritually, we have to bring messages that are relevent to what is going on in people's lives. We must bring a fresh annointing to people who are sick of "religion" in the context that they know it. In addition, as we MODERNIZE our message (remember, the Word never changes but our delivery methods can), we are also implementing several upgrades to the church grounds and building.

This started earlier this year as we finished the parking area and playground as well as other improvements in our electronics. We worked hard to get our sound booth built and all equipment moved which leads to our latest endeavor - the platform rennovations.

Many years ago, when the church was built, it was set up for a choir. Today, we no longer are using that set up and have went to a praise and worship team. With live music, including drums, 2 electric guitars, 2 bass and 4 live singers, we needed more modern space. It is a great opportunity to rebuild the stage to accomodate the praise and worship team as well as put up sheetrock to brighten up the area as the panelling is out-dated and dark!

We have other projects that are upcoming as we implement the vision we have to reach those who need Jesus in our community! In the future, we hope to build a large picnic shelter on the grounds as well as to improve the recreational areas with volleyball, basketball, additional picnic tables and park benches for use by the congregation. An investment into our youth and grounds helps us to continue to connect in the community. Additionally, we are praying to be able to add a large fellowship hall to the church as we grow.

The Lord continues to bless us with many new people as we reach out in love! Keep us in your prayers. I have added some new photos of the "work in progress" on our platform.
