Ministries at New BeginningsBulletins
Sunday Celebration ServicesSundays at 10:30 AM We celebrate the Lord on Sundays! Hear and participate in awesome contemporary Praise and Worship followed by Pastor Aubrey's MESSAGE FOR TODAY. Pastor Aubrey strives to bring the Word of God as it relates to our generation and situations that we face now. He attempts to CONNECT in unique ways so we can grow and overcome.
Sunday School - Discipleship TrainingSundays at 9:30 AM Learning God's Word is very important. NBCC offers three different classes for Sunday School in an effort to do our part in helping the Christian grow and expereince discipleship. Our adult class is taught by Susan Lana. Our BOYS Class is taught by Steve Shearer, and our GIRLS Class is taught by Brenda Williamson and Jacqui Simmermon. Come join us for an awesome lesson as we break the Bread of Life!
EvangelismWednesdays at 7:30 PM Here at New Beginnings Community Church we are concerned with reaching those who don't know Christ. The bible tells us to "go into all the world and preach the Gospel" but many of us are afraid, uncomfortable or feel unequipped to share about Jesus... Evangelism Night is designed so we can learn what evangelism is and how to really reach the lost in our community and around the world.
Youth ServicesWednesdays at 7:30 PM Youth today experience a lot of peer pressures. Many times they are pushed into situations that they dont know how to deal with. NBCC Youth Leaders are dedicated first and foremost to teaching our young people the biblical standards of living and what God's word says on how to handle these types of situations. We have programs for all ages which also includes youth events both on the grounds of the church and outings that are supervised - examples include bonfires, planned amusement park and ski trips, family camping trips, etc. Our grounds are "youth friendy" with a playground, swings, a planned basketball court and soccer area. The church has nursery for most services.
Fellowship EventsMonthly - check Calendar of Events for dates and times In Acts 2, we find the events of the birth of the New Testament Church! The Word tells us that the people were steadfast in the Apostle's doctrine and fellowship as well as in the "breaking of bread" and prayers. As a matter of fact, they went from house to house meeting together! These people SPENT quality time together in fellowship!! This was exciting because when they did all these things, they became unified and the power of God was released! That's our dream here at NBCC - we want to live and breath "God"... We want to develop good Christian relationships with others in our community and offer Christian alternatives to the world - where families and friends can come together, learn about the Lord and have great fellowship together. Some examples of this ministry include "Christian Movie Night" and "Kickball and Hotdogs" at Moores Creek Battlefield where we get together for a friendly game of kickball and grill some hotdogs in a good Christian atmosphere.
Joseph Project - "Helping Hands"Monthly - check Calendar of Events for dates and times of community distributions Our mission is to provide a helping hand to our church body and the surrounding community. The "helping hands" ministry is here to assist those in immediate need of food. We are also here to help empower those in need with the use of the word of God. Our goal is to offer a once-a-month food assistance program, to those in need and to help them gain ongoing assistance, if necessary, from other food ministry outreaches in our immediate area. In the future, helping hands ministry will also help provide names and addresses of other outreach programs that are available for long term assistance. These include ministries such as Angel Food Ministries that provides low cost food packages and additional resources. "Helping Hands" first priority is to offer assistance to our church body and secondly, to reach out to the surrounding community in Montague and Currie with food and the love of Christ Jesus. The Joseph Project - Helping Hands" Ministry is here to not just provide people with "fish" (or provisions), but we are here to help with the tools necessary to allow people to learn to "fish themselves", gaining victory and independance in their life situations. copyright, © 2007, New Beginnings Community Church |
